Community OutreachGrace Harwood Fund for Elderly Ladies
Established by Miss Harwood’s estate, this fund benefits ladies in the Pleasant Valley community that may require assistance from time to time. Referrals can come from any social service agency, parish member or clergy.
Girl Scout Troops St. Luke's supports two Shawnee Council Girl Scout troops Cadette Troop #652 and Junior Troop #733, both of Pleasant Valley, are a constant source of activity and inspiration for this parish. The scouts provide various programs where the congregation participates throughout the year. They include Girl Scout International Thinking Day, Girl Scout Sunday as well as programs at Thanksgiving and Christmas. St. Luke’s sponsors two semi-Annual Gathering of the Food for the South Washington County Food Bank.
